This next level program, new in 2025, is crafted for the more experienced contractor professional. The program is designed to cultivate participants into true organizational leaders who can set the tone for clear and positive communication, and steer both in-house teams and project teams toward success. Built around six sessions, participants will deepen their understanding of “being” the business, growing the business, forming teams that win, unifying the team, creating a culture of safety, and manifesting their leadership. In addition, students will participate in a three session “boot camp” on construction claims. Rounding out the learning will be a session on lean construction, mental heath in construction, diversity in construction, risk management and cyber security.
Building Leaders is anchored by the SagePresence consulting team and travels outside the Twin Cities for three of the six sessions, with overnight lodging. The construction claims “boot camp” will be anchored by Fabyanske, Westra, Hart & Thompson, P.A.
Available to AGC members only, the ideal candidate will be a mid-level manager on a clear path to advancement within the firm.

Nominations
Associated General Contractors of Minnesota is accepting applications for the 2025 Building Leaders series. Both nomination forms below must be completed in order for a candidate to be considered for participation.
Nominations will be rated and forwarded to AGC CEO Tim Worke for final selection. The class will be limited to 22 participants, and depending on the number of nominations, participants will be limited to one per AGC member company per year. Successful candidates and their supervisors will be asked to sign a conduct agreement prior to the start of the series.
Successful applicants should be available to attend all sessions.

Tuition for 2025 is $5,000 and covers all expenses except travel and personal incidentals. Hotel is included in tuition. Invoices will be issued following candidate selection.
