In 1939, founder John Weis started a cabinet shop in the basement of his home. His reputation for quality workmanship spread and soon he was offering remodeling services and custom home construction. From this modest beginning, the company has grown to one of ENR's Top 400 Construction Firms. The company has built a wide variety of projects from multi-unit residential to commercial, industrial, retail, hospitality, and healthcare facilities. Now in its third generation of the Weis family, the company offers a complete menu of project delivery systems, i.e., general construction, design-build, construction management, and program management. The company is headquartered in Minneapolis/St. Paul with offices in Chicago, Rochester, MN, and Dallas.
