Founded in 1976, Union Bank & Trust Company is unique in its ownership structure. Twenty-four union organizations, primarily building trades, own the bank. It was started for the express purpose of providing a full range of banking services to unions and companies who employ their members. The Trust Division provides custody and clearing services to Taft-Hartley and government employee benefit plans and is one of the largest trust operations in the Upper Midwest. The Trust Division also provides trustee and mutual fund clearing services for defined contribution plans and a full range of personal trust services.
